Presenting your Class of '24 Seniors on Senior Night
While in Williamsburg, Virginia in April 2024, The Carlynton Golden Cougar Marching Band took part in the Music In The Parks music festival along with other bands across the country. Music in the Parks is a day-long festival for student choral, orchestral, and band ensembles, held annually across the United States. Music groups perform before adjudicators who rate the ensemble in the morning, and then spend the day at an amusement park. The day culminated with an awards ceremony at Busch Gardens!

Your CGCMB received a rating of EXCELLENT by the adjudicators.
Our Director, Mrs. Light, was presented our rating and trophy in front of the other competing bands in the Great Hall inside Busch Gardens!
ABOUT US
The Carlynton Golden Cougar Marching Band is comprised of students from grades 7th through 12th from the communities of Carnegie, Rosslyn Farms, and Crafton. The band regularly performs in band festivals and parades throughout Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. Each year, our members enjoy participating in educational trips and performing in other cities such as Boston, Nashville, Chicago, Disney, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York, and Washington D.C.
